Apres Ski Scene

When is comes to skiing, many people enjoy not only the exhilaration that skiing offers, but also the comradery that is associated with it! This comradery is not always found on the hill either. For me, one of the best parts of skiing is having a beer at the end of the day with some good friends who you skied with all day! This is a great time to share stories from the day, talk about the weather, and make plans for the next time out. Often, we like to play various games while we indulge in apres ski. These games generally consists of favorites like hook and sling (a Caribbean game that requires players to swing a O ring that is attached to a string, hanging from the ceiling in an attempt to hook it on a hook that is attached to a wall roughly 10 feet away). Another fun game that many skiers enjoy playing is poker, sometimes played for money, but typically just for who buys the next round! Skiing is a great sport, and when it comes to apres, the fun really never ends. One of the best parts about skiing is hanging with good friends, so the next time you are out on the hill enjoying the crisp mountain air, be sure and join your friends at the end of the day at the local watering hole to relive the fun you had that day (just be responsible)

Also, if you know of any great apres skiing games, be sure and bring them up, poker is a great one, as is hook and sling! I also know that many skiers also enjoy participating in the apres scene in heated pools and hot tubs, as they can be great ways to relieve sore muscles and relax!
