2011 Winter Forecast

by The Virginia Skier on August 10, 2010

AccuWeather has just released their 2011 winter forecast. Last year, they made headlines with their incredibly accurate winter forecast for the Mid Atlantic “snowmageddon”! This year, the main stories include a drier, warmer winter for the Mid-Atlantic, a “wintry battle zone” for the northeast, and a much snowier winter for the Pacific Northwest and northern Rockies. Judging by this outlook, Utah may be positioned very, very well with a high probability of some nice Northwest flow!

Looks like it could be a snowy winter for some! Better head to the SKI SHOP to get ready!!

Yahoo! I live, and ski, in the northwest. We love La Nina. Bring it on!
